Last Time Out

The Rocky women split their two road games last weekend, defeating Montana Western 67-48 on Thursday before falling to No.25-ranked Providence 68-53.

In Rocky's victory over the Bulldogs, four Battlin' Bears finished in double figures, led by 19 points from Sydney Dethman on nine-of-ten shooting from the field. Paige Wasson added 17 points along with three steals, and Isabelle Heggem totaled 11 points with three blocks and seven rebounds. Rocky's 49.1% shooting percentage was their fourth-best in a game this season and the best in a conference matchup.

A cold shooting second half allowed Providence to break away from the Battlin' Bears in the second half. Rocky combined to shoot zero-of-seven from three-point range in the second half. The Argos took the season series, 2-1, with their win, but the Rocky women still hold a one-game advantage over Providence in the Frontier Conference standings with four games to play in the regular season.
