(RV) Rocky Men’s Basketball Defeated by Argos 100-78

GREAT FALLS, Mont.- The Rocky men gave up a season-high 100 points on Saturday as they fell to the University of Providence. 

How it Happened
The Argo offense was excellent in the first half, shooting 65.4% from the field as they led most of the opening period. After a back-and-forth start, the Argos climbed to a double-digit lead thanks to a 16-2 run midway through the first half. 

The Battlin' Bears could never whittle away at their deficit, as Providence hit nine of their first 14 shots in the second half to build a significant lead and secure Saturday's matchup and the season series over Rocky. 

Notable Statistics
Jaylon Lee, Carter McCoy, and Royce Robinson all finished with ten points. 11 different Battlin' Bears got in the score column in the loss. 

Providence finished with six players in double-figures, led by 19 points from Mike Wright Jr. The Argos shot 61.7% from the field in the win and drained 11 three-pointers.
