MOUNT BACHELOR, Ore.- Sara Akerstrom was named the combined freeski champion to lead the Rocky women to their third team title in the past four seasons. 

Women's Slopestyle Results

Malia Grantor and Sara Akerstrom both earned All-American honors in the women's Slopestyle, as Grantor placed ninth with a finals score of 50.67 and Akerstrom took tenth with a finals score of 47. 

Cora Moriarty rounded out the Rocky competitors with a qualifying score of 29.67, placing 23rd overall. 

The Battlin' Bears earned fifth place overall with 42 place points. 

Men's Slopestyle Results

Freshman Ashton Fretwell led Rocky with a 37th-place finish. Samuel Rudy followed in 41st, Austin Johnson finished 47th, and Oliver Sapak rounded out the Battlin' Bear competitors in 50th. 

The Rocky men finished 13th overall, totaling 125 place points. Westminster University earned the team title with six total place points. 

Women's Combined Freeski Results

Sara Akerstrom was crowned the combined freeski national champion, earning top ten adjusted finishes in all three events to combine for 17 place points. Malia Grantor also earned All-American honors in the combined freeski event with 37 adjusted place points to place tenth overall. 

Reese Harman placed 14th with 41 adjusted place points, and Cora Moriarty placed 22nd with 64 adjusted place points. 

The Rocky women earned a team title in the combined freeski, totaling eight adjusted place points. Thanks to the individual place points tiebreaker, they edged out The Claremont Colleges. The title is the third in the past four seasons for the Rocky women. 

Men's Combined Freeski Results

Samuel Rudy was the top placing Battlin' Bear in the combined freeski, taking 39th with 105 adjusted place points. Oliver Sapak followed in 44th, Austin Johnson placed 46th, and Ashton Fretwell finished in 53rd. 

The Battlin' Bears finished 12th as a team in the combined free ski with 29 adjusted place points. Westminster University earned the team title with nine adjusted place points.
