BRUNDAGE, Idaho.- Synne Kvinlog and Linnea Olesen finished as the top two finishers, leading the Rocky Women to a Giant Slalom victory on Thursday.

Synne Kvinlog recorded the fastest run of the day (1:05.98) to kick off Thursday's competition, eventually earning an individual victory with a total time of 2:17.18. Linnea Olesen followed behind, thanks to a strong second run that led the field overall (1:10.34), placing second overall with a time of 2:18.32. 

Elisabeth Grimkelsrud also recorded a top-five finish, placing fifth with an overall time of 2:20.95. Klara Almqvist (14th; 2:25.83), Sara Akerstrom (16th; 2:26.82), and Jenny Sjotun (18th; 2:27.58) all finished inside the top-20 overall, with Malia Grantor (2:28.47) rounding out the top 20 overall. Paige Heinz finished 34th overall with a time of 2:37.97. 

The Battlin' Bears earned first overall in the team standings in the lone day of giant slalom action.
