BILLINGS, Mont.- The Frontier Conference announced its 2024-25 Annual Athletics Awards, in which Battlin' Bear SID Brandon Stinson was honored as the Sports Information Director of the Year.

"I can not think of a more deserving individual for this award", Athletic Director Jim Klemann said. "Brandon is a shining example of servant leadership, professionalism, and teamwork. His impact on Rocky Athletics and the Frontier Conference is tremendous, and I am proud for him to be honored with this award by his peers."

Stinson completed his third season as the Sports Information Director at Rocky Mountain College after he was hired in July of 2022. He is an active member of the College Sports Communicators and NAIA-SIDA, while also serving on the NAIA-SIDA Publications Committee. Stinson served as the Frontier Conference voting member for the NAIA National Players-of-the-Week in Cross Country, Track and Field, and Men's Basketball, and is the co-chair of the SID Advisory Committee.

Stinson also served as the interim Frontier Conference Director of Communications this past fall.

Stinson, originally from Helena, Montana, is a graduate of Montana State University and received his master's degree in Sport and Athletic Administration from Gonzaga University in 2022.
