Brandon Stinson

Brandon Stinson began his role with the Battlin' Bears in July 2022 as the Sports Information and Media Coordinator. He serves as the primary contact for all 15 sports for Rocky Mountain College Athletics, while also overseeing roles that include video live streaming, social media management, website management, ticketing, head statistician, graphic design, photography, and assisting in gameday management. 

In 2025, Stinson was recognized as the Frontier Conference Sports Information Director of the Year. During the 2024-25 year, Stinson served as the Interim Director of Athletic Communications for the Frontier Conference, served on the NAIA-SIDA Publications Committee, and is the Co-Chair of the SID Advisory Committee for the Frontier Conference. He also served as a National Player of the Week voter for Men's and Women's Cross Country, Men's Basketball, Indoor Track and Field, and Outdoor Track and Field. 

Before joining Rocky Mountain College, Stinson served as the Community Relations Manager for the Billings Mustangs, where he was tasked with a wide variety of responsibilities including the coordination and set up of the Mustang's online video stream, video production for the use of Synergy Sports scouting tools, ticket sales and large group events, and supporting gameday operations. 

Stinson graduated from Montana State University in Spring 2021 with a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology/Criminology and a minor in Coaching. During his time in Bozeman, Stinson served as an Assistant Resident Director for Residence Life, most notably assisting in the opening and operations of Hyalite Hall in 2020. Stinson coordinated social media usage on multiple accounts throughout his three years with Montana State and specialized in small and large group event planning and marketing. He also served as the Head JV/Assistant Varsity Boys Basketball coach at Petra Academy in Bozeman and volunteered as a youth basketball coach at the YMCA. 

During his first year with the Battlin' Bears, Stinson completed his Master's Degree in Sports and Athletic Administration from Gonzaga University. Before joining the Battlin' Bears, Stinson lived in Spokane, Washington in the first year of his program at Gonzaga. While living in Spokane, Stinson served as a videographer for RunnerSpace at The Podium, a newly opened 135,000-square-foot indoor multi-use sports facility. He provided video and production support during the 2022 USATF Indoor Championships in February 2022.

Stinson is originally from Helena, Montana, and lives in Laurel with his wife, Alli.
