BILLINGS, Mont. - Rocky Volleyball fell at home in straight sets to 18th-ranked Montana Tech.

How It Happened

Rocky bounced back and forth to open the contest, as a kill from Olivia Fauth knotted up the contest at 7-7. After the Orediggers created some separation, it was the freshman Fauth who sparked another rally, with back-to-back kills to cut Rocky's deficit to two, 18-16. Montana Tech would finish the set with a 7-3 run to take the first set 25-19.

From then on, the 18th-ranked Montana Tech Orediggers would live up to their national ranking, controlling the final two sets to hand Rocky a three-set defeat.

In her first collegiate start, freshman Olivia Fauth, along with Sadie Meier, both tallied five kills to lead Rocky. Zoey Albert and Lauren Rodacker each totaled 11 digs, while Meredith Marsh and Ella Kincaid each added 11 digs apiece.

Montana Tech was led by 14 kills from Kinnidi Willmore.
