ASHLAND, Ore.- No. 22-ranked Rocky Men's Soccer moved into first place in the conference standings following a 1-0 victory over No. 16-ranked Southern Oregon on Saturday.

Fynn Sweeting scored his third goal of the weekend in the 72nd minute, providing the lone score the Battlin' Bears needed for a pivotal road win.

How it Happened
The match was deadlocked at 0-0 heading into halftime, as Rocky generated consistent pressure in Raider territory throughout the opening half, recording six shot attempts and earning five corner kicks.

Coming off the bench for the second straight contest, sophomore Fynn Sweeting made an immediate impact in his 22 minutes of action. In the 72nd minute, Luke Tooze sent a deep corner kick past the box to find Manny Mendez, who redirected a header into the middle of the penalty area. Sweeting connected with a one-timer past the Southern Oregon defense to put the Battlin' Bears ahead.
