Wilson began at Rocky in March 2023 as a Defensive Tackles Coach, as well as the Football Equipment Manager.
Wilson had his playing career in football begin at Northwestern Oklahoma State University, where he spent two seasons before transferring to Mars Hill University for three seasons, contributing as a starting defensive lineman.
Wilson's coaching career began at Mars Hill University after his playing career concluded with the Lions as a Defensive Student Assistant in the spring of 2018, where he assisted with equipment, coordinating spring practices, strength and conditioning, and recruiting. After graduating from started coaching as an defensive student assistant in the spring of 2018 at Mars Hill University helping out with Equipment and Spring practices, Strength and Conditioning as well as recruiting. After graduating from Mars Hill, Wilson returned to his alma mater Homestead Senior High in Homestead, Florida, where he coached defensive line while also contributing to the school's strength program. In the summer of 2020, Wilson returned to Northwestern Oklahoma State University to become the Defensive Tackles Coach during the 2020 and 2021 seasons, before transitioning to a full-time role on staff as the Defensive Line Coach & Assistant Recruiting Coordinator. Notable players Wilson coached included 2-time 1st Team All-Conference player (Brian Holiday) and the 2022 GAC Conference leader in tackles for loss (Chima Ozz). Wilson signed 25 recruits in three years as the assistant recruiting coordinator at Northwestern Oklahoma State. While at the high school level, Wilson coached two 4-Star Recruits that later signed to play at Florida State University.
Wilson's parents reside in Homestead, FL, his home town. Wilson has one sister Clayon Wilson, who is the Head Coach/Club Director of the Starlings Coastal Georgia Volleyball Club and works for the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp baseball organization. Clayon was also named on the AVCA Thirty Under Thirty Club. Wilson also has three brothers, Traquez, Demetri, and Eldrick Wilson. Demetri serves as the Director of Recruiting Operations at Fresno State.
