Coach Lucas Olson graduated from Dickinson State University with a bachelor's degree in exercise science. During his time as a Blue Hawk, Olson was a part of three North Star Conference Championships.
Coach Olson began his coaching career at Skyview High School in Billings, Montana. At Skyview, Olson coached linebackers and moved into the defensive coordinator role midway through the year.
Coach Olson was hired at Rocky Mountain College in January of 2021, and began coaching as a defensive assistant in the 2021 spring season. While at Rocky, Coach Olson helped lead the Battlin' Bears to the Frontier Conference Championship in 2021.
