Rocky Mountain College Athletics

Nick Voorhees joined the football staff in the Spring of 2026 as the Offensive Coordinator and Quarterbacks Coach.

Voorhees comes to Rocky after four seasons at NCAA DII Lock Haven University in central Pennsylvania, where he was most recently the Wide Receivers Coach and Pass-Game Coordinator. While there, the passing game became a staple of the offense, ranking 3rd in the conference in 2025 and 1st in 2024 (10th nationally). Voorhees mentored multiple all-conference receivers as the school passing records were smashed, producing a back-to-back Harlon Hill Trophy nominee at quarterback. In his time at Lock Haven, he also carried the titles of Special Teams Coordinator, Recruiting Coordinator, and Social Media Coordinator.

Prior to Lock Haven, Voorhees spent time as the Wide Receivers Coach and Special Teams Coordinator at Anna Maria College in Massachusetts. There he helped the passing offense finish 12th nationally on the way to the program’s first conference championship and playoff appearance.
 
Voorhees began his college coaching career at the University of Mary in Bismarck, North Dakota, where he coached the receivers in 2017 and the running backs in 2018. Prior to the college ranks, Voorhees coached high school football in the Tampa and Orlando areas for six total seasons, making stops at Bloomingdale High School (DB’s), Lake Minneola High School (WR’s) and Freedom High School (OC/QB’s/WR’s).
 
Voorhees earned his bachelor’s degree in sports and fitness with a specialization in coaching from the University of Central Florida (UCF) in 2013. He lives in Billings with his wife Amanda and son Nicholas.
