Coach Samuel Mora is a graduate of Rocky Mountain College, with a Bachelors of Arts degree in communication studies. Coach Mora is currently the quarterbacks coach for the Battlin' Bears.

Coach Mora began his coaching career in 2010. He coached at the high school level until he came to Rocky, with the exception of a couple of years' break to help prepare draft prospects for the NFL draft. Coach Mora has been a coordinator on four conference championship teams at the high school level, and players trained and coached include Jameis Winston, Johnny Manziel, Bryce Petty, Mike Evans, Logan Thomas, and Keelan Doss (at Alameda High School, 2010-14).

While at Rocky, Coach Mora has been a part of the program turnaround from 4-7 to 7-3 Frontier Conference Champions. He was the position coach for Nate Dick, who was Honorable Mention All-American (2021) and Dawson Schick, who was All-Frontier Conference (2021 Spring.)

Sam Mora is from Oakland, California, and is the son of Samuel Mora Sr. and Amy Mora. Mora lives in Billings with his fiancée Micah and their dog Cosmo.
