Ochinero began at Rocky during the 2021 season as a volunteer assistant, later being hired to lead the Battlin' Bears JV Volleyball team for the 2022 season. Ochinero also serves as an assistant for the varsity program.Â
Her playing career included two seasons at Laramie Community College while she earned her Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration.
Ochinero's coaching career began as a camp clinician, working under former ISU head coach Chad Tiechert at the Chad Tiechert Volleyball Camps where she helped organize and run four-day camps for 12-60 athletes. She then coached at various clubs and youth programs through 2013 before she and her family relocated to Billings. Ochinero has served as the head coach at Lockwood from 2015 to 2021 and has been a key part in the addition of the new high school program.Â
Ochinero served on the staff that led the Battlin' Bears to a Conference Tournament victory in the 2022 season.Â
Ochinero's family includes her husband, Mason, and their three daughters that attend Huntley Project - Logan, Rylee & Karson.Â
