BILLINGS, Mont. – The No. 16 ranked Rocky Mountain College football team (8-3, 7-3 FC) will play No. 1 ranked Morningside College (11-0, 9-0 GPAC) in the opening round of the 2018 NAIA National Football Championship.
Coming off a loss to Montana Tech, Rocky was the only Frontier Conference team to secure a spot in the series.
The Battlin' Bears head into Saturday's game having passed for 3,529 yards as the No. 2 ranked pass offense in the NAIA. Only Morningside has managed to pull in more yards through the air with 4,313 yards.
The Battlin' Bears will travel to Sioux City, Iowa to play the Mustangs on Nov. 17. The action will take place at 12 p.m. CST/11 a.m. MST.
