BILLINGS, Mont. – The No. 14 ranked Battlin' Bears fell to conference opponent Providence 93-89 Saturday night.
Rocky ended the first half down 52-43. A strong start to the second half saw that deficit diminish and the Battlin' Bears were able to keep pace with the Argos down the stretch. A few missed three pointers by Rocky in the final minute allowed Providence to slip past the Battlin' Bears 93-89.

Jared Samuelson scored a season-high 30 points with seven rebounds.
Satchel McDonald contributed 19 points, five assists, and three steals.
Craig Wilmore scored 16 points with six assists.
The Argos shot 58.3% from the floor while the Battlin' Bears shot an even 50%. From beyond the arc, Providence shot 44.4% to Rocky's 30.8%.
The Battlin' Bears out-rebounded the Argos 35-26.
Providence was led by the pair Brandon Cotton and Jalen Shepard who each scored 20 points.
Rocky will next travel across town to play MSU-Billings on Dec. 8 in an exhibition game starting at 7:30 p.m.
