BILLINGS, Mont. – The Rocky Mountain College men's basketball team takes to the road for the final time this regular season to play a pair of Frontier Conference games. The Battlin' Bears are in Great Falls on Friday to face Providence at 7:30 p.m. They will then face MSU-Northern on Saturday at 8 p.m. in Havre.

Rocky begins the final four games of the regular season at 16-10 overall and having secured a sixth straight winning season. The team is currently in fourth-place in the Frontier Conference standings with a 7-7 record in league games. A top four finish would give Rocky a home game during the quarterfinals of the Frontier Conference Tournament on February 27.
The Battlin' Bears are currently scoring 82.92 points per game to rank third in the Frontier. The team shoots 47.6 percent from the field and 35.9 percent from beyond the arc. Rocky makes 7.89 threes per game while getting 17.65 assists per game. The team is eighth in the NAIA with 459 total assists and with a 1.35 assist-to-turnover ratio.
Rocky opponents average 73.12 points per game and shoot 43.6 percent from the floor. Rocky is second in the Frontier by collecting 39.62 rebounds per game. The team averages 8.54 steals and 3.31 blocked shots per contest. Their 222 total steals ranks 13th in the country.
Jared Samuelson leads Rocky in scoring at 18.6 points per game. That average is 26th in the NAIA while his 465 total points are 22nd most. Samuelson is 21st in the nation by shooting 55.8 percent from the floor and 20th at 85.0 percent at the foul line. He is also ranked in the NAIA top 50 in total rebounds, rebounds per game and offensive rebounds per game.
Austin Payne is second on the team is scoring at 11.1 points per game. He has scored in double figures 12 times and has three games with at least 20 points. Payne shoots 50.7 percent and has 37 made 3-pointers at a 38.9 percent clip.
Chad Kananen averages 9.2 points per game and ranks second in the Frontier by making 2.46 threes per game. He is 38th in the NAIA by shooting 43.2 percent from beyond the arc with his 64 made triples ranking 31st in the nation. Kananen also sits 49th in the NAIA with his 2.08 assist-to-turnover ratio.
Latrelle Franklin leads Rocky and ranks 13th in the NAIA with 113 total assists. His 4.52 assists per game place him 16th in the nation. Franklin is also 15th nationally with 46 steals and 23rd at 1.84 steals per game.
Colin May is currently 14th in the NAIA with his 2.83 assist-to-turnover ratio.
Satchel McDonald is39th in the NAIA with 38 steals.
