Rancho Palos Verdes, Calif. – The Rocky Mountain College men's soccer team swept Marymount with an 8-0 victory Monday evening.

Coming off a 2-1 loss in overtime to Westmont on Saturday, Rocky (1-1) quickly rebounded and secured their first win of the season in dominating fashion.
 
The first goal of the evening went to Nolan Sherwood off an assist from Alexander Taylor in the 23rd minute. The Battlin' Bears were hardly finished. 10 minutes later, Sky Swenson added another score with an assist by Marco Kummerle. Sam Davidson ended the period with a goal of his own in the 43rd minute.

Coming out of the break, the Battlin' Bears refused to let up on the attack. Kummerle found the back of the net just two minutes into the half. 20 minutes later, Milo Downey scored with an assist from Mason Luse.
 
Davidson, who led the team in scoring, scored his second goal of the game with an assist from Finn Lane in the 72nd minute. He would soon find the net again as he scored his third goal unassisted in the 89th minute.
 
Adrian Lopez ended the night with a goal in the 90th minute off an assist by Davidson.
 
The Battlin' Bears finished the evening with 13 shots and 10 on goal.

Goalkeeper Kristofer Wennin recorded two saves.

Rocky will next play against Briar Cliff on Friday at 7 p.m. at Herb Klindt Field. They will continue the action against Mid-America Christian Monday at 1 p.m. Wendy's Field in Billings Mont.
