GREAT FALLS, Mont. – The Rocky Mountain College women's soccer team opened the 2018 season with a 2-0 victory over University of Providence on Tuesday afternoon.

Rocky (1-0) and Providence (0-1) kept pace with each other through the first half of play with neither team giving ground. It was not until the 52nd minute that Rocky began to pull away with an unassisted goal by Hannah Borgel.

Tiara Duford would find the back of the net herself in the 76th minute.
