BILLINGS, Mont. – Rocky Mountain College was defeated by crosstown rival MSU-Billings in four sets on Tuesday night. The game counted as an exhibition for the Battlin' Bears.

The No. 18 ranked Battlin' Bears took the first set 25-20, but lost the next three straight sets in 21-25, 14-25, and 15-25. 

Rocky's Daniella Russell had 12 kills while Monique Rodriguez totaled 11 herself. Miranda Gallagher contributed eight kills while Morgan Allen had five kills and four blocks for the Battlin' Bears. Natalie Hilderman posted 31 assists while Ayla Embry pulled in a team-high 17 digs.

Four Yellowjackets scored in the double digits led by Bayli Monck's team high 15 kills. Maddi Vigil had 14 kills and 15 digs while Skylar recorded 13 kills in addition to Joelle Mahowald's 12 kills. Hannah Hashbarger contributed 53 assists while Marissa Logozzo had 29 digs.

The Battlin' Bears will next travel to Helena, Montana on Friday for a match against the Carroll College Fighting Saints. Rocky is currently undefeated in the Frontier Conference.
