CHANDLER, Ariz. – Falling 80-77 in overtime, Rocky Mountain College finished a trio games at the 2019 Cactus Classic with a loss to Park University Gilbert on Tuesday.

Grant Wallace in the first period, the Battlin' Bears held a 41-27 lead at the half. Park-Gilbert rallied back, outsourcing Rocky 46-32 in the second period, to tie the game at 73-73 with just 10 seconds left in the game.
The Buccaneers kept hold of their momentum in the decisive overtime period and pulled ahead of the Battlin' Bears 79-75 heading into the final 30 seconds.
Clayton Ladine drew the Battlin' Bears within two, but Park-Gilbert's Saad Ali followed it up with 1-of-2 free throws to extend the lead to three.
For the second day in a row, the Battlin' Bears hopes lay in a last second buzzer beater, but couldn't clinch the game winner.
Rocky finished the day shooting 32.5 percent from the field while draining 10-of-39 from beyond the arc. The Buccaneers shot 41.7 percent and held a 49-41 advantage in boards.

Grant Wallace posted a team-high 18 points and 10 rebounds to account for the game's only double double on either side.
Darius Henderson had 12 points and seven rebounds while
Brandon The Boy scored 11.
The Buccaneers' Jake Ellis had 30 points and five assists on the day. Tyson Beringer had 13 points while Ali scored 12.
The Battlin' Bears will return to Billings, Mont., to host the Hampton Inn Green & Gold Classic on Dec. 27-28. They will next play Portland Bible College on Dec. 28.
