RED LODGE, Mont. –  After winning two Slalom races on Saturday, the Battlin' Bears finished the weekend with a sweep of Montana State during the two Giant Slalom races on Sunday.

On Saturday, Rocky's women's ski racing team finished first in both races with total times of 190.93 and 216.83.

Emeline Lafarge finished the initial Slalom race in first with a combined time of 60.43. Lafarge's initial run of 29.98 was the fastest of the day for the women. The senior from Chamonix, France did not finish her second run during the second race. Hannah Clancy finished in second during the initial race with a total time of 63.72, but did not finish her first run during the second race. After finishing fourth in the first race with a combined time of 66.78, Larissa Saarel took first later on in the day with a total time of 69.96.

On Sunday, the women' ski racing team took home the team titles after claiming the top three finishes in both of their races. 

Powering the ski team's success was Emeline Lafarge  who finished first in both races with times of 78.84 and 80.72. Hannah Clancy took the initial race with a time of 79.06. She finished in third on a time of 84.72 behind Rocky's Carina Bracy in the second race. Bracy took second on a time of 84.09 in the second race after finishing in third with a time of 80.54 earlier in the day.

The ski racing teams will compete next on Feb. 16-18 at the Northern USSA Qualifier at Montana Snowbowl.
