WHITEFISH, Mont. – Two Battlin' Bears earned postseason conference honors as announced by the Frontier Conference Wednesday.
Craig Wilmore earned the Frontier Conference's Defensive Player of the Year in addition to being selected Honorable Mention All-Conference. The senior from Daytona Beach, Fla. averaged 9.32 points, 2.61 assists, and 5.74 rebounds a game. Defensively, he recorded 35 total steals and 21 total blocks on the season. Wilmore was also selected Honorable Mention All-Conference last year.
Jared Samuelson was selected First Team All-Conference. The junior from Billings, Mont., averaged 18.64 points and 7.64 rebounds per game. Rocky's scoring leader, he ranked second in the Frontier Conference in total scoring, total rebounds, and double doubles. His 578 points this season ranked 16th in the NAIA Division 1. The Frontier Conference's Preseason Men's Basketball Player of the Year, Samuelson was previously selected First Team All-Conference for the 2017-2018 season.
