La GRANDE, Ore., October 9, 2021- Rocky Mountain College beat Eastern Oregon 34 to 17. Rocky's defense came up big with six turnovers, in the contest.

Nate Dick had 224 yards in the air and 123 on the ground, for a total of 347 yards and four passing touchdowns. Nate was sacked once in the contest, but overall the big fellas kept him safe on the day.
Zaire Wilcox led the rushing attack with 20 carries. Luc Overton led the Battlin' Bears in receiving with 76 yards on two receptions.

Eastern Oregon was led by Kai Quin with 201 yards passing, 82 yards rushing, three fumbles, and three interceptions. The Mountaineers were led on the ground by Rosas with 48 yards and in receiving by Wilkerson with 63 yards on four catches.

The Battlin' Bears outgained the Mountaineers 441 to 372. Rocky dominated time of possession with 38 minutes and 59 seconds. Rocky eliminated lulls on offense and forced turnovers to stay in control for most of the game.

"Big win for the good guys on a tough, long road trip," Coach Stutzriem said. "I'm really happy for our coaches and players. The coaches had a great game plan and our guys executed it very well."

The Battlin' Bears have a bye this week, then Rocky host Carroll College at Herb Klindt field on October 23 at 1 p.m.
