BUTTE, Mont., October 30, 2021- Montana Tech came to play, and a slow start led to Rocky Mountain College falling 17 to 21, for the Battlin' Bears second loss of the season. The 18 point lead at halftime for Montana Tech was too much for the Rocky men, who are no strangers to a coming from behind, to overcome.

Nate Dick had 182 yards passing, 78 yards rushing, one touchdown, and one interception. Wyatt Brusven was second for the Battlin' Bears in rushing with 25 yards. Brusven faked a punt on the first drive, and ran for 25 yards and the first down. Luc Overton had another game over 100 yards receiving with 118 yards.

Montana Tech was led by Jet Campbell with 316 yards passing, 32 yards rushing, and two rushing touchdowns. Blake Counts had 58 yards rushing and Logan Kennedy had 105 yards receiving.

The Orediggers outgained the Battlin' Bears 446 to 327. Tech won the time of possession with 49 minutes and eight seconds. Both teams had two fumbles, and Rocky had one interception to finish -1 in turnover margin.

Rocky still controls their own fate, and the Battlin' Bears still hold the top of the Frontier Conference standings.
