The Battlin' Bears started well with a 25 to 22 win in the first set. Then the Battlin' Bears started to struggle with errors. Rocky hit .217 in the first game, but only averaged .001 after that set. The Battlin' Bears women did have some positives, Nez had 15 kills, Wu had 3.5 blocks, and Embry added another 25 digs to her already impressive total.

Rocky Mountain College offense was led by Rhiannon Nez with 15 kills and hit .400, and Taylor Wolf added seven kills and two blocks. Ayla Embry had 25 digs on the night.

The Bulldogs of Montana Western were led by Stenger with 16 kills, Anderson with 13 kills, Martin with 5.5 block and Goddard with 33 digs.
