CALDWELL, Idaho, November 26, 2021- The Battlin' Bears started slow, but quickly picked up their play to defeat the College of Idaho 66 to 57. Rocky went on a 14-0 run to start the fourth quarter, to take and hold the lead for the rest of the contest.
The Battlin' Bears were led by Kloie Thatcher with 21 points and four assists. N' Dea Flye added 18 points, eight rebounds, and six steals. The Battlin' Bears shot 39.6 percent from the field, 35.3 percent from the arc, and 48.6 percent from the line.
The College of Idaho was led by Lexi Mitchell with 11 points and 10 rebounds. Sienna Riggle added 10 points and nine rebounds.
The Yotes outrebounded Rocky 49 to 31. Rocky out shot the Yotes from the arc Rocky 35.3 percent to 26.1 percent.
The Rocky women take on Eastern Oregon University to finish off the tournament tomorrow at 3 p.m. for the tournament title game.
