BILLINGS, Mont., December 11, 2021- The Battlin' Bears started fast, but had to come back from down 29 to 34 at half, to win 73 to 65. The two teams split exhibitions for the season at one win a piece.

The Battlin' Bears were led by N' Dea Flye with a game high 20 points, six rebounds, five assists, and two steals. Mackenzie Dethman added 17 points, three rebounds, and a block. Kloie Thatcher added 12 points, one rebound, one assist, and one block to seal the game with under 3 seconds remaining. The Battlin' Bears shot 55.3 percent from the field, 35.7 percent from the arc, and 88.9 percent from the line.

Montana State University Billings was led by Kortney Nelson with 16 points and nine rebounds. Danielle Zahn added 16 points, three assists, and two steals. Shannon Reny added 12 points.

Rocky had 28 rebounds to the Yellowjackets' 31 boards. Rocky had 36 points in the paint to MSUB's 24 points.

The Rocky women head to Arizona to play Benedictine University at Mesa and compete in the Frontier Conference Challenge, where the Battlin' Bears women will take on Vanguard University, Menlo College, and Midamerica Nazarene University.
