GREAT FALLS, Mont., December 2, 2021- The Battlin' Bears started from behind, but overcame being down at halftime to win 71 to 56. Rocky goes to 6-1, 1-0 in conference.
The Battlin' Bears were led by N' Dea Flye with 21 points, 14 rebounds, five assists, and two blocks. Shauna Bribiescas added 15 points, seven rebounds, three assists, and two blocks. Kloie Thatcher added 12 points, four rebounds, and five assists. The Battlin' Bears shot 53.6 percent from the field, 50 percent from the arc, and 40 percent from the line.
The University of Providence was led by Emilee Maldonado with 13 points and four rebounds. Maddy Dixon added 12 points and nine rebounds. Parker Esary and Kerstyn Pimperton both also added 10 points.
Rocky outrebounded the Argos 34 to 32. Rocky out shot the Argos from the field 53.6 percent to 32.8 percent.
The Rocky women take on Montana Tech on First Interstate Bank Court at the Fortin Education Center in Billings on Saturday December 4 at 2 p.m.
