BILLINGS, Mont., December 4, 2021- The Battlin' Bears men fell to Montana Tech 68 to 76. Rocky showed grit and toughness to get within four in the final two minutes, but ultimately fell. The Battlin' Bears fall to 4-5, 0-2.
 
Rocky was led on offense by Maxim Stephens, who had a big double double with 18 points, 16 rebounds, two assists, a block, and one steal. Abdul Bah scored another 15 points, four rebounds, an assist, and a steals. Kael Robinson added 12 points, three rebounds, and an assist.
 
Montana Tech was led by Caleb Bellach with 28 points, seven rebounds, and a steal. Sindou Diallo added 15 points, a rebound, and two assists.
 
Rocky shot 40.4 percent from the field, 26.7 percent from deep, and 72 percent from the line. Tech shot 51.9 percent from the field, 40 percent from deep, and 70 percent from the line. Rocky had 12 points off of turnovers to Tech's 17 points, and the Battlin' Bears had 28 points in the paint to Tech's 26 points. The Battlin' Bears Bench contributed 22 points on the day.
 
The Battlin' Bears host Montana State University Billings at 7 p.m. on Wednesday December 8.
