BILLINGS, Mont., January 15, 2022- Rocky Mountain College's men were ahead 45 to 40 going into half, but ultimately fell 83 to 90. Rocky's men fall to 9-9, 2-4.
Rocky was led on offense by Abdul Bah, who had 18 points, three assists, and three steals. Tayshawun Bradford scored another 14 points and one steal. Jesse Owens added 13 points, two assists, and two steals. Rocky shot 57.9 percent from the field, 43.8 percent from deep, and 71.4 percent from the line.
The University of Providence was led by Marcus Stephens, with a game high 31 points, five rebounds, three assists, and two steals. Brendan Howard added 30 points, eight rebounds, and one steal. Rashee Stocks added 12 points and six rebounds. The Argos shot 50 percent from the floor, 36.4 percent from the arc, and 88.9 percent from the line.
Rocky had 23 points off turnovers to Providence's 26 points. The Battlin' Bears had 42 points in the paint, and the Argos had 38 points.
The Battlin' Bears travel to Montana Tech, to take on the Orediggers at 7 p.m. on Thursday January 20.
