BILLINGS, Mont. Oct. 15, 2022- Rocky Mountain College Men's Soccer (7-5-1, 5-4 conf.) defeated Bushnell 2-1 on Saturday evening.

Bushnell got on the board quickly, with Caleb Premo scoring six minutes into the match off an assist from Zander Harer to give the Beacons an early 1-0 lead. Niklas Kneller found the back right corner of the net in the 40th minute from an Igor Soares assist to tie things up going into the half.

The Rocky defense stepped up in the second half, only allowing three total shots for Bushnell in the second half. Angel Mange gave Rocky the lead after corralling a cleared ball from a corner kick and sneaking his shot through a crowd of Bushnell and Rocky players, which proved to be the game winner.

Angel Mange led the Battlin' Bears with six total shots, three of which being on goal, Stefan Schenk saved four out of the five shots he faced on the day, and Rocky outshot Bushnell 17-9 on the day as a team.

Caleb Burke led the Beacons with five shots total on the day, while goalkeeper Diego Montes Carrera saved three out of the five shots he faced.

The Battlin' Bears will take off for Portland, Oregon next weekend to take on Multnomah University and No. 22 Warner Pacific University.
