Rocky Women Defeat Bushnell 5-0 Saturday Afternoon

BILLINGS, Mont. Oct. 15, 2022- Rocky Mountain College Women's Soccer (3-8-3, 1-6-2 conf) shook off their offensive struggles to score five goals in their 5-0 defeat over Bushnell University.

The Battlin' Bears wasted no time, with Halle Labert scoring two goals within the first six minutes of play to give Rocky an early 2-0 lead. Carly Roth would join the fun with a goal of her own in the 34th minute to give Rocky a 3-0 lead going into the half. Maja Albertsen would find the net off of a Mila Allison corner kick in the 51st minute to extend the Rocky lead to 4-0. Laura Kellner got loose off of a Halle Labert pass to beat the keeper one-on-one for Rocky's fifth and final goal. 

Rocky's defense was stellar, only allowing one shot on goal throughout the day, as Mandi Dallimore in her first start as goalkeeper did not face a shot on goal. Rocky finished with 23 shots on the day, with 15 of them being on goal, led by Brynn Klinefelter's five shots on the day.

The Battlin' Bears will travel to Portland, Oregon next weekend to take on Multnomah University and Warner Pacific University.
