Rocky Volleyball Bests Carroll College 3-1 to Tie for the Frontier Conference Lead

BILLINGS, Mont. Oct 28, 2022- Rocky Volleyball takes down Carroll College 3-1 (28-26, 25-20, 28-30, 25-15) Friday evening in the Fortin Education Center. 

The Battlin' Bears may have played their best defensive match of the season, led by some explosive plays to lead them to a four set victory in a match full of long rallies by both teams. The Battlin' Bears had six players with double digit digs and tallied 12 total blocks. 

Ayla Embry finished the match with 47 digs, Blythe Sealey tallied 49 assists, and Bella Bryan finished with 15 kills and three blocks. 

Julia Carr finished with 41 digs, Katherine McEuen finished with 13 kills and 30 digs, and Hannah Schweickert totaled 43 assists and 20 digs.

The Battlin' Bears (16-13, 6-1 conf.) tied No. 15 ranked Montana Tech for the Frontier Conference lead and will have a chance to take the outright lead as they take on Montana Tech for Senior Night Saturday evening starting at 6:00pm.
