Rocky Men Cap Off Regular Season Defeating Walla Walla 3-0

BILLINGS, Mont. Oct. 30, 2022- Rocky Mountain College Men's Soccer (10-6-1, 8-5 conf.) defeated Walla Walla University 3-0 on Senior Day Sunday afternoon. 

The Battlin' Bears got on the board quickly, as Niclas Bickel scored off an assist from Jose Reyes-Mortero five minutes into the match. Jose Reyes-Mortero found the net in the 24th minute off a crosser from Zach Wall to give the Battlin' Bears a 2-0 lead. Felix Knoerle pushed in Rocky's third goal in the 37th minute off an assist from Niclas Bickel. 

The Battlin' Bears defense was spectacular, holding Walla Walla to only three total shots, none of which were on goal. Rocky had 17 shots on the day, 10 of which were on goal. 

The Battlin' Bears men will enter the Cascade Conference Tournament as the 6th seed and will take on Corban University on Monday, November 7th in Springfield, Oregon.
