Rocky Men and Women Draw with Presentation College

ABERDEEN, S.D. Sept. 10, 2022- Rocky Mountain College men and women traveled to Aberdeen, South Dakota to take on Presentation College, in which both teams tied with a final score of 1-1. 

Freshman Emma Lensing got the Battlin' Bears on the board with her first collegiate goal in the 73rd minute. The Presentation College Saints were down to their final chances, as Delainey Williams scored in the 87th minute to draw the score even. Mila Allison recorded six goals on the day and the Battlin' Bears outshot the Saints 10 to 7.

The men's side would follow in a similar fashion. Presentation's Norberto Montero got the Saints on the board in the 34th minute with a goal. Rocky's Niklas Kneller was able to tie the game quickly to start the second half off an assist from Igor Soares, and that's where the scoring ended at 1-1. Rocky outshot the Saints 10-4 in the match. 

Mila Allison tallied 3 saves for the game for Rocky, while Maja Albertson had a shot on goal to go along with her assist. The Battlin' Bears combined for only two shots on goal during the match. 

The Battlin' Bears men (1-1-1) and women (1-2-1) will travel to Jamestown, North Dakota to take on University of Jamestown Sunday afternoon.
