BILLINGS, Mont., Sept. 3 2022- Rocky Mountain Soccer won both of their matches on the road Saturday, the men winning 7-1 over McPherson College in Iowa, and the women winning 5-0 over University of Providence in Great Falls.
The Battlin' Bears men kicked off the morning with a dominating 7-1 win over McPherson College.
Igor Soares scored three goals in the victory and goalie
Stefan Schenk had 6 saves. Rocky also got goals from
Angel Mange,
Finn Lane,
Niklas Kneller, and
Maddox Gallia.Â
Rocky women returned to Montana to take on the University of Providence in a non-conference matchup where they picked up a shutout victory 5-0.
Halle Labert scored 2 goals on the day. The Battlin' Bears also got goals from
Morgan Ferestad and
Ally Gockley.
The Battlin' Bears men are back in action next Sunday, September 11 against University of Jamestown, while the women will play in Aberdeen, South Dakota next Saturday, September 10th against Presentation College.
