BILLINGS, Mont.- Liam Pearce scored his third goal of the season which tied the match in the 61st minute to give the Battlin' Bears a 1-1 draw with Evergreen State College Sunday afternoon.

The Geoducks got on the board early, as Kolby Juarez found the net in the 10th minute to give Evergreen State College a 1-0 lead.

Freshman Liam Pearce entered the game for the first time in the second half and kickstarted the offense as the Battlin' Bears controlled possession throughout the half. Pearce eventually scored on a free kick just outside of the penalty box in the 61st minute, bringing the score to the 1-1 draw that held through the final horn.

Rocky outshot the Geoducks 18-5, including 11-3 in the second half. Igor Soares tied for the game high with four shots, while Liam Pearce added three in just 38 minutes of play. Stefan Schenk finished with five saves on the day.

The Battlin' Bears (4-6-3, 2-6-1 conf.) will hit the road to take on Multnomah and Warner Pacific in Oregon next weekend.
