Rocky Women’s Soccer Draws 1-1 With Warner Pacific

PORTLAND, Ore.- A great defensive effort held a 1-1 draw for the Rocky women in Portland on Sunday. 

The Battlin' Bears took the lead just four minutes into the match on an own goal from the Knights. Warner Pacific made amends for their mistake, scoring to tie the match in the 19th minute. 

The Battlin' Bears outshot Warner Pacific 13-8, with 10 of their shots being on goal on the day. Sana Bath led all players with four shots on the day. Hannah Trumbull continued solid play in goal during the home stretch of the season, recording four saves on the day to keep the Battlin' Bears in the match. 

The Battlin' Bears (2-9-2, 1-7-2 conf.) will return home to host Bushnell University and Corban University this upcoming weekend, celebrating Senior Day on Sunday, October 29th against Corban, with kickoff at 3:30pm.
