GREAT FALLS, Mont.- Rocky Volleyball drops to 2-2 in conference play after a four set loss against the Argos Thursday evening.

The Argos grabbed the momentum from the jump, beginning the night on a 7-1 run in the first set, later finishing the set off on six consecutive points to win the first set 25-14.

Rocky responded in the second set, capitalizing on mistakes by Providence, as the Battlin' Bears finished the set on a 6-0 run to win their only set of the night 25-16.

The Battlin' Bears fought through the third set, as a service ace from Grace Zeier tied the set up at 22-22, but Providence would come out of the timeout with three straight points to take the third set.

Their momentum would help push them through the finish line, as Rocky never held a lead in the fourth set and the Argos would take the victory at home in four sets.

Rocky was led by 11 kills and three blocks from Makenna Bushman, 35 assists and 16 digs from Blythe Sealey, and 24 digs from Brooke Ark. Grace Zeier finished with three service aces.

The Battlin' Bears (13-9, 2-2 conf.) will host MSU-Northern for Homecoming weekend on Saturday, October 7th beginning at 6:00pm.
