Rocky Men’s Soccer Falls to Southern Oregon 3-1

ASHLAND, Ore.- Three first half goals from the Raiders were too much to overcome for the Battlin' Bears as they dropped their second straight match. 

Goals from Even Norconk (10'), Omar Ramirez (32'), and Sky Cherley-Bolyard (36') set Southern Oregon up with a 3-0 lead entering halftime. 

Igor Soares cut into the deficit just 42 seconds into the second half, but the Battlin' Bears were held to the single goal as they were defeated in Ashland. 

Southern Oregon outshot the Battlin' Bears 16-7 in the match. Soares tallied three of the Battlin' Bears' shots on the afternoon. Stefan Schenk finished with a season high seven saves in the losing effort. 

The Battlin' Bears (4-5-2, 2-5 conf.) will return home to host Northwest University on Friday and Evergreen State College on Sunday.
