Rocky Women’s Golf Finishes Final Competition Before Conference Championships

GOODYEAR, Ariz.- The Battlin' Bears competed well against a field of NCAA Division I teams as they prepare for next week's Frontier Conference Championship.

Valentina Zuleta led the way for the Battlin' Bears, shooting a 13-over-par 229, finishing tied for 26th place. Tyla Potgieter finished shooting a 237, Grace Metcalf shot a 248, and Kadence Fischer shot a 257.

The Battlin' Bears finished with a team score of 946, just six strokes behind Idaho State University. Grand Canyon University took the team victory with a team score of 863, with the Lopes' Constanza Guerrero taking the individual victory.

The Battlin' Bears will head to Reflection Bay Golf Club on Monday, April 17th-Wednesday April 19th to defend their Frontier Conference Championship.
