BILLINGS, Mont.- The Battlin' Bears host the Fighting Saints Friday evening to open the 2023 Frontier Conference schedule.

- Makenna Bushman leads the Frontier Conference with 206 kills this season, which also ranks her 17th in the NAIA. 
- Blythe Sealey continues to lead the Frontier Conference with 9.69 assists per set, while she also ranks 9th in total assists in the NAIA (591) and 10th in the conference in digs per set (2.98). 
- The Battlin' Bears spiked a season high 61 kills in their win over MSU-Northern on Saturday, led by Bella Bryan (18), Rhiannon Nez (14), Paige Sawyer (11) and Makenna Bushman (10) all finishing with double digit kills. 

Defensive Notes

- Brooke Ark set a new career high 38 digs in last week's win over Providence. She currently ranks second in the NAIA in digs per set. 
- Rhiannon Nez finished the Preseason Tournament with 20 total blocks, bringing her season average up to 1.06 blocks per set, which ranks second in the Frontier Conference. 
- Five Battlin' Bears have totaled more than twenty blocks so far this season.
