Game Notes

Finish Strong
The Battlin' Bears will conclude their regular season at home with matches against Carroll College on Thursday and Montana Western on Saturday for Senior Night.

Fierce Frontier
According to Massey Ratings, the Frontier Conference is the highest-ranked overall strength conference in the NAIA this season and is No. 1 in Power Rating. It boasts three nationally ranked teams, with another receiving votes.

Eyes Ahead to the Tournament
The Battlin' Bears will look to rally some momentum before taking off for the Frontier Conference Tournament, hosted by MSU-Northern on Friday, November 15th, and Saturday, November 16th.

Scouting the Fighting Saints
Carroll College remained receiving votes in the most recent NAIA Coaches Poll. While Carroll has dropped four of their last five matches, the Fighting Saints are still a force in the Frontier Conference this season, led by an excellent defensive backline leading the conference averaging 21.4 digs per set.

Scouting the Bulldogs
Montana Western moved up two spots in the most recent NAIA Coaches Poll from No. 17 to No. 15. Winners of six of their last seven matches, the Bulldogs have not won a match in the Fortin Education Center since September 22nd, 2005. Going into the weekend, Montana Western sits one game out of the top spot in the Frontier Conference and will look to make a run at the #1 seed for the conference tournament.
