BILLINGS, Mont.- Rocky Football announces its new-look 2025 schedule, competing in the Frontier Conference - East Division. 

The divisional schedule will consist of six games, with Rocky playing three at home and three on the road. With the expanded Frontier Conference featuring 14 football-playing schools, the conference has split into an east and a west division with seven teams each. 

The east division will include the following teams in alphabetical order - 

Dakota State University
Dickinson State University
Mayville State University
Montana State University-Northern
Montana Tech
Rocky Mountain College
Valley City State University

The west division will include the following teams in alphabetical order - 

Arizona Christian University
Carroll College
College of Idaho
Eastern Oregon University
Montana Western
Simpson University
Southern Oregon University

The assignment of divisions is consistent with the NAIA's approach to allocating automatic berths to its Football Championship Series for postseason qualification. Both the East and West divisions of the Frontier Conference will be granted one automatic qualifying berth beginning in Fall 2025, along with the opportunity to claim one or more at-large berths. The best six-game record within each division will claim the corresponding automatic qualifying berth.

Rocky's divisional schedule will begin on Saturday, October 4th, with a road matchup against Valley City State. Below is the full divisional schedule for the Battlin' Bears.
