BILLINGS, Mont.- The Battlin' Bears will seek their 18th consecutive win over the MSU-Northern Lights on Saturday in their first of five home games for the 2024 season.

Game Notes

Home Opener
The Battlin' Bears host their first of five home games of the 2024 season on Saturday versus MSU-Northern. Since the 2021 season, the Battlin' Bears hold a 9-6 record on Herb Klindt Field.

Last Time Out
Rocky fell in their season opener at No. 15 Dickinson State this past Thursday, 17-42. It was Rocky's first loss to Dickinson State since 2017, snapping a three-game winning streak against the Blue Hawks.

Keeping the Streak Alive
The Battlin' Bears have won 17 consecutive games against MSU-Northern over the span of nine seasons. The Lights' last win against Rocky was a 44-41 win on Herb Klindt Field in 2014.

Stat Leaders
Graedyn Buell is the only quarterback in the Frontier Conference thus far in the season to pass for over 200 yards in a single game, throwing for 280 in the loss to Dickinson State. His leading receiver, Joseph Dwyer, holds the lone 100-yard receiving game in the conference this season. Defensively, John Aragon's 1.5 sacks last week ties him for the top spot in the Frontier.

Stopping the Run
Rocky's defense will see a new look to the Lights' offense as MSU-Northern features a read-option-heavy attack in 2024. The Battlin' Bears have held MSU-Northern to less than 50 rushing yards in their past four matchups.
