BRUNDAGE, Idaho.- The Battlin' Bears swept the team and individual honors to wrap up their first conference competition at Brundage Mountain on Sunday. 

After a dominant showing on the first day of competition, the Battlin' Bears swept the weekend with strong showings in Sunday's Giant Slalom races. 

Men's Results

Fredrik Straume was the individual winner on Sunday for the Battlin' Bears, placing first overall with a combined time of 2:06.15, over three seconds faster than the remainder of the competition. Elio Turnes followed in second place with a combined time of 2:09.35. 

Maj Vorsic finished fourth overall with a combined time of 2:10.21, including the fastest run of the day by any competitor in his second run, crossing the finish line in 1:00.37. Zachary Bion rounded out the top-ten finishers for the Rocky men, taking sixth with a combined time of 2:14.04. Austin Johnson was the fifth finisher for the Battlin' Bears, placing 18th overall with a combined time of 2:25.38. 

The Rocky men finished with a combined team time of 6:34.78, taking first place overall for the second consecutive day. 

Women's Results

Eulalie Giraud and Synne Kvinlog again swiped the top two individual places on Sunday after doing so on Saturday, leading six Battlin' Bears finishing in the top-ten overall.  Giraud placed first with a combined time of 2:08.10, over seven seconds ahead of the next non-RMC competitor. Kvinlog followed shortly behind in second place with a combined time of 2:10.91. 

All of Rocky's competitors finished inside the top 13 overall, the other finishers on Sunday included -

6th. Jenny Sjøtun - 2:19.21
8th. Reese Harman - 2:19.68
10th. Malia Grantor - 2:21.52
11th. Franziska Bonn - 2:23.15
13th. Sara Akerstrom - 2:23.83

The Battlin' Bear women cruised to a second straight team victory.
