MOUNT BACHELOR, Ore.- Rocky Ski continues to impress this season, turning in strong individual performances at FIS competition in Colorado over the weekend.

Giant Slalom Results

Eualie Giraud led the way for the Battlin' Bear women on the first day, finishing 18th overall with a total time of 2:04.26. Jenny Sjøtun followed in 27th place (2:11.00) and  Klara Almqvist finished 30th (2:13.73) to round out Rocky's finishers. 

Giraud improved her finish on the second day of the Giant Slalom competition, finishing in 15th place with a total time of 2:12.04. Klara Almqvist also improved her finish, following in 27th place with a time of 2:19.21. Jenny Sjøtun placed 31st (2:21.18), and Franziska Bonn placed 36th overall (2:29.45). 

On the men's side, Jules Clerice finished 26th overall on the first day with a total time of 2:04.73. Caleb Unger (2:07.35)  and Fredrik Straume (2:07.59)  followed in 34th and 35th, respectively. 

Jules Clerice was the lone Battlin' Bear finisher on the second day of Giant Slalom, placing 24th overall with a time of 2:00.26.

Eulalie Giraud continued a strong freshman campaign with a 17th-place finish, totaling a time of 1:35.08. Elisabeth Grimkelsrud followed in 25th place, totaling a time of 1:38.20. Jenny Sjøtun rounded out Rocky's first day competitors with a 37th place finish, totaling a time of 1:45.16. 

Giraud saved the best for last, jumping into the top ten overall, placing tenth overall with a total time of 1:35.50. Jenny Sjøtun finished 29th overall with a total time of 1:44.52, and Franziska Bonn followed in 31st overall with a total time of 1:44.99. 

Fredrik Straume placed 19th overall on the first day of the men's slalom, totaling a time of 1:27.01. Caleb Unger followed in 24th place with a total time of 1:29.79. 

Unger was the top Rocky men's finisher on Sunday, placing 30th overall at 1:33.99. Jules Clerice followed in 34th place with a time of 1:35.89.
