Rocky Volleyball Falls to Valley City State in Three Sets

VALLEY CITY, N.D. - Rocky Volleyball split their North Dakota road trip 1-1 after a three-set loss to Valley City State. 

How It Happened
The Battlin' Bear offense was unable to sustain an offensive attack on the evening, totaling 19 attack errors overall. 

Transversely, Valley City hit an impressive .366 hitting percentage on the evening, as well as seven service aces, to blast past the Battlin' Bears in three sets. 

Sadie Meier totaled a team-high five kills in the loss. Kristyn Mentink added nine assists, while Zoey Albert totaled nine digs. 

For the Vikings, Macy Fridgen totaled a game-high 14 kills.
