BUTTE, Mont. - Rocky Volleyball fell on the road to the Orediggers in straight sets on Friday evening.

How It Happened

The Battlin' Bears battled closely in the first set early, as Amelia Kisiel spiked a kill to draw the match to a 7-6 deficit for Rocky. After an Oredigger run saw their lead grow as large as six, the Battlin' Bears clawed back to cut their deficit to just three following a block from Amelia Kisiel. Still, Montana Tech would eventually secure the set 25-21.

Montana Tech's attack would define the final two sets, hitting .344 and .364, as they would take down the Battlin' Bears in straight sets.

Kaitlyn Wood led the team with seven kills (.250%), adding three blocks. Kristyn Mentink added 11 assists and nine digs, while Lauren Rodacker also added nine digs and a service ace.

Kinnidi Willmore led all players with 13 kills for Montana Tech.
