11/20/2025 2:00:00 PM

BILLINGS, Mont.- Thirteen Rocky Football student-athletes were honored with All-Conference honors, and 37 Battlin' Bears were honored with Academic All-Conference recognition, announced by the Frontier Conference on Thursday.

Long Snapper of the Year

Tyler Anderson, a 6-foot-2-inch redshirt junior from Waddell, Arizona, was named the East Division Long Snapper of the Year. Anderson was an excellent leader on special teams throughout the season, spearheading a unit that ranked second in the East Division in field goal and PAT percentage and third in average yards per punt.

This is Anderson's first All-Conference recognition of his career.

First Team All-Conference

Darius Haskin, a 6-foot-1-inch redshirt freshman from Buckeye, Arizona, was named First Team All-Frontier. In seven games played, Haskin totaled 45 catches for 861 yards and ten touchdowns. He recorded two or more touchdowns in four of his seven games this season, as well as 100+ yards receiving in four different games. His 123 yards per game led the Frontier Conference, and his 861 yards ranked second, playing four fewer games than the conference leader.

On special teams, Haskin returned four kicks this season, averaging 51.8 yards per return and bringing back a 97-yard touchdown against Valley City State. He was just one of two freshmen to earn First Team All-Frontier Conference honors in the East Division.

This is Haskin's first All-Conference recognition of his career.

John Aragon, a 6-foot-1-inch senior from Chino, California, was named First Team All-Defense. Playing in nine games, Aragon recorded eight tackles for loss, two sacks, and 36 total tackles. He recorded at least 0.5 tackles for loss in seven of his nine games played this season.

This is Aragon's second All-Conference honor of his career, earning Second Team All-Conference honors in 2023.

Johnnethan Goins, a 5-foot-9-inch redshirt junior from Wildwood, Florida, was named First Team All-Defense. Goins totaled 31 tackles, including 24 solo tackles, as well as three pass breakups and two tackles for loss from his corner position.

This is Goins' first All-Conference honor of his career.

Jordan Legg, a 6-foot-1-inch redshirt sophomore from Mesa, Arizona, was named First Team All-Special Teams. Legg led the East Division in yards per punt this season, averaging 38.3 yards, while pinning 16 of his 41 punts inside the 20-yard line and recording only one touchback and a long of 55 yards. His punt average tied for the 14th best in the NAIA this season. On kickoffs, Legg averaged 59.9 yards per kick, booting 18 touchbacks and helping hold opponents to an average of 19.38 yards per return.

This is Legg's first All-Conference honor of his career.

Second Team All-Conference

A trio of Battlin' Bear offensive linemen were named Second Team All-Conference, including redshirt senior guard/center Alex Hernandez IV (Boyle Heights, Calif.), junior left tackle Derek Staples (Phoenix, Ariz.), and redshirt freshman right tackle Mikale Perry (Phoenix, Ariz.). The three standouts were catalysts in a Battlin' Bear offensive attack that led the East Division in passing yards per game with 262.8, while totaling five games this season with one or fewer allowed per game, including two games with no sacks allowed.

This is the first All-Conference honor for all three individuals for their careers.

Eric Lira, a five-foot-11-inch redshirt senior from Phoenix, Arizona, was named Second Team All-Offense. Playing all ten games, Lira totaled 56 catches for 823 yards and eight touchdowns. He averaged 82.3 yards per game and featured three games with 100+ receiving yards, including a 13 catch, 216-yard, and three touchdown performance against Dickinson State. He ranked second among qualified players in yards per game (82.3), and receptions (56), as well as third in touchdown receptions.

This is Lira's first All-Conference honor of his career.

Mason Browning, a six-foot redshirt senior from Queen Creek, Arizona, was named Second Team All-Defense. Playing all ten games this season from his linebacker position, Browning was Rocky's leading tackler with 61 total tackles, including 2.5 sacks and four tackles for loss. He also added a pass breakup and a forced fumble. He ranked ninth in the East Division in total tackles and seventh in tackles per game (6.1).

This is Browning's second career All-Conference honor, as he received honorable mention recognition in 2024.

Austin Drake, a six-foot redshirt senior from Hamilton, Montana, was named Second Team All-Special Teams. Drake was reliable in the kicking game this season, making 9 of 11 field goal attempts and 23 of 25 point-after attempts, totaling 50 points for Rocky.
